Hi! I'm Steven, an incoming PhD student in Computational and Systems Biology at MIT. I graduated from Columbia University with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science. I love building cool things, especially in AI and deep learning and their applications in biology.
Previously, I conducted research at Columbia University Irving Medical Center with Dr. Mohammed AlQuraishi and at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory with Dr. Peter Koo.
As a Kaggle Competitions Master, I've participated in numerous AI competitions, ranking in the top 0.07% globally.
In my free time, I love swimming, playing racket sports, making delicious food, and capturing moments through my lens.
My Chinese name is 俞翌阳 and it has the same pronunciation as 鱼一羊, which means "fish, one, sheep". That's why I have this fishy background! 🐟🐑
